In Heavenly Ocean, I sought to capture the tranquil beauty and luminous colors of one of Hawaii’s most cherished shorelines. Layers built of rich Palette Knife texture brings movement and energy to the turquoise waters, sunlit sands, and distant offshore islands. Bold strokes of color reflect the ever-changing light dancing across the ocean, while Impasto applications of paint create a tactile sense of the sea breeze and rolling waves.
